Tim received his B.A. in psychology from John Carroll University, and his M.A from Walsh University in Counseling and Human Development. He is a Professional Clinical Counselor, licensed in the state of Ohio, and a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc.
Tim has received specialty training in the substance abuse and addictions field and is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors. He is a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) meeting the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements through the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). This SAP designation enables Tim to evaluate workers who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol program regulation and make recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.
Tim is also a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and has done work in Emergency Services.
Tim has been in the mental health treatment field for over 10 years and has a very diverse background which he uses to individualize each counseling encounter in his mental health counseling practice.
